Nigel Morgan (MD)

I am a joint founding director (MD) of Community Funding Resources Ltd (May 2011) and am driven by my desire to support organisations in the not-for-profit sector, specifically in the area of project funding.  Since 2001, following an earlier career in banking,  I have worked exclusively in the not-for-profit grants-related sector which eventually led me to a directorship of a registered environmental body (EB) in 2009, before forming Community Funding Resources, two years later.

In my experience, the topic of funding is high on the list of priorities for most organisations that I work with and as director of an EB I have had the opportunity to help a growing number of exciting and sometimes unique projects to access funding under the Landfill Communities Fund (LCF) scheme.

The following is a sample of projects that I have worked with: NoFitState Circus (Restoration of the Four Elms Centre in Newport Road, Cardiff); replacement seating for the upper tier at the iconic New Theatre, Cardiff; refurbishment of Church Community Halls at Ely and Rumney, Cardiff; A major church restoration in Mumbles, Gower.

I have worked with the Project Manager of 'Greener Grangetown' since its inception. Please see the project page for more details of this innovative scheme with LCF funds contributed by Cardiff City Council.

During my time as Director of an Environmental Body I have supported over 45 Projects and accessed funding of £2M from Landfill Operators across Wales
