Connahs Quay Viewpoint, Flintshire overlooks the River Dee and until recent times it was a mostly inaccessible wasteland. This project formed part of a wider process of regeneration of the immediate area (please see ‘Kathleen and May’ Heritage Centre project) and was also linked to the opening of the Wales Coastal Path in 2012.
The benches have improved the environment by providing a pleasant area for recreation, enjoyment and a resting place for coastal walkers, visitors and the local population.
“A very helpful organisation, assisting with positive guidance and direction”
"Very professional. Supportive given the constraints of the project which was linked to the opening of the Wales Coastal Path"
